A week later and another Strat… 2007 MIM Standard.. Pics as always

One day less than a full week and my hunt for what I consider deals has landed me a 2007 MIM Standard Strat Maple/ Black.. Looks like it sat in a closet for 10 years with the amount of dust and a few white paint speckles from some renovation

A full break down, cleaning, fret polish, contact cleaner, new strings, 5 new trem springs, full setup and about 2.5 hours of my time I have something that looks, feels and plays like a proper Strat (whatever that is)

This thing is night and day compared to the mint $50 Affinity I picked up last week which will eventually go to better home as it doesn’t suit my ears..

From what I can tell, its a bone stock un modified 2007 MIM Standard.. still had plasti wrap under the knobs, stuck to the pick guard which took some elbow grease to remove..
