    Hi All,

This is a waltz with the Strat plugged in the GR-20 Synth using the Accordion
patch. I think this unit is just amazing.
Besides the main theme (Mon Coeur d' Attache - Enrico Macias), most of the rest is my own rambling.
Please excuse the mistakes, I am new to the ... Accordion.

Great! You could score a Fellini movie with that accordian sound.

I'm really interested in getting one of those, to spice up my crude home recording projects. I'm pretty much sold really, though I might put off picking one up for a while, in the interest of keeping down the national debt. Seems that it will do a credible bass as well, and drum sounds. I use a little program for drums that works for me, but it seems that it would be good for doing varied fills, crashes, and turnarounds. If just those two aspects work well, that almost makes it worth it to me, to also be able to add other instrument sounds to tracks makes it extremely attractive.

Thanks for your posts--anything else you might want to give us would be much appreciated!

That was wonderful. Roland should just show this as their ad. I want one now!

(and I wish I could play as beautifully as you do!)

These 2 synth clips are some of the best Ive seen cause Abelk plays the synth like the actual instrument where most people would just do guitar licks and it wouldnt sound as good.

    More more! LOL

I am glad you enjoy it as much as I do.

It is indeed an incredible unit. And Mark, the Organ sound is unreal.
There are about 500 instruments to play with.
Unfortunately, the guitar patches are the less convincing ones.

    Best Regards,
    Abel

Wow, beautiful. That just made my day.

I agree. Rolands demos are lame. My wife heard one at a guitar show earlier this year and has been suggesting I should get one. I guess Christmas is around the corner;) .

I was thinking of getting a synth guitar, though. How's the tracking with the GK3?

    Hi 6Bender,

It's my first Synth ever, so I can't compare, but the tracking on mine
is great. No latency, especially if you adjust the attack.
    Try one at Guitar Center.

    Regards,
    Abel
