(2nd scratch build project for me)

My daughter and her two friends wanted some guitars to start a band... but since they're tweens, I figured a slightly smaller scale would be appropriate, so I built these three:

The body design is sort of a Tele crossed with a G&L Fallout

Bodies - 2-pc. poplar, with light contours
    Necks - birdseye maple
    Fretboards - jatoba, 7.25 radius, 21 frets
    Scale length - 22.7
Pickups - 2 have a single GFS P90 (one with a custom pink cover!), the turquoise one has a pair of GFS Liverpool Minitrons
Hardware etc. all from Bezdez on ebay...

3 different finishes - two are pastel bursts with white guards, the third is black gloss with some copper stars and a pearloid pickguard.

I still have to dress the frets and do a proper setup - but they are all 3 pretty playable already as is. The black one is my favourite - the pickup growls and the neck is the nicest feeling of the three. I kind of don't want to give that one up. (My kid is keeping the turquoise one with the Minitrons, so I'll get to play that one!)

I'll post some build pics below...

The black one looked like this at one point, but I was told it was too "boyish" - so started improvising after

Wiring - I hate this part actually. I hate soldering.

Those are great. It would be fun to see pics / video of their first rehearsal.
