I had asked members on the Stratocaster forumn about a fix for my problem on my Strat. It would never stay where I wanted; it either would rest at the very bottom or if I went another round up to screw it in farther it was way too tight and stiff.

@Skydog1010 offered and sent a tremelo kit that fixed my problem. It stays where I want it and works great. I can play Wicked Game now without screwing my timing reaching for the whammy bar.

Skydog wouldn't take an offer of money and sent it right out with probably too many stamps so that I would get it. He offered it as a Christmas present and / or to pay it forward. I almost got a chance to pay it forward that last night at my book club where I work as a volunteer with mentally challenged ( I prefer the term " non-judgmental, open, cool") adults. I was going to buy a book for an individual but another worker there got it before me. I'm still going to for an opportunity.

I tell my daughter to always thank someone as my parents told me. So thanks Skydog1010.

You are very welcome. Try not to lose all those little bits. Merry Christmas.

I have had a few members here help me above and beyond, even by being available to answer questions through private Messages, or to help me aquire some ambiguous parts I needed for the studio, I can not say enough accolades for these guys ,
this is the magic of this site, and the very reason I am here.

I was able to pay it forward to a local member who builds beautiful vintage style tube amps , by giving him a CD of several hundred schematics of vintage amps , and my first adjustable amp cradle i made ( he was using bricks at the time in one of his posts )

KEEP THE MAGIC ALIVE , its not an illusion!
