Telecasting musical goodness to the Universe & beyond
5) ALL OF THE ABOVE! And don't forget Funk, Punk, Reggae, Ska, New Wave, New Rock, Prog Rock, Roots Rock...
Ok that cracked me up
Best for country twangy imo.
Well, MORE country players play a Tele seems to be true, ie: Don Rich, Buck Owens, Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, Marty Stuart, Vince Gill, Brad Paisley...
All of the above. No explanation required.
My thought is that Danny Gatton could have been in all four categories. So Teles are best suited to eclectic virtuosi.
Why of course!
Dtwang dtwang, dudududu-dtwang dtwang!
I'm thinking............maybe a tele would be great for opera. Because some blues entail some tragedy.........we would just need to decide what language the vocalists will be singing in.
I think a Tele is best for:
4) Any other kind of music
Anything at all!
Would an 8-string tele count?
Teles are HUGE in Math Rock
Thanks guys, great start for a day
Never heard the term, "Math Rock," before...a renaming of 'avant-garde' guitar?
Very proggy., really based on mathematical formulas. The few math rock bands I've heard have awful singers though.
A Tele is good for starting a discussion with close to 60 replies in which nearly all replies closely mimic each other in the "everything" category.
