You can put metal in there too. I play some screaming leads on both of mine on occasion.

Never heard anyone playing classical stuff. Bet it would still sound good.

Agree with all of above. Most versatile guitar I ever played.

I mostly use it for jazz and blues. Best solidbody for jazz by a mile, and a serious contender for ‘best jazz guitar’ period.

    Classical? Sure!

The music starts about four minutes in.

That was exactly the 'kind' of answer I was digging for (ha,ha):

    6) Classical (Tchaikovsky, Beethoven, etc.)

FWIW, I play Beethoven's FUR ELISE on my Tele.

'A Tele is best for' - has one extra, superfluous word at the end.

    A Tele is best.

For years I'd discounted a Tele as being a country guitar. Then it occurred to me that Rick Parfitt and Francis Rossi both played one. Now I want one too.

Leo is a genius. The telecaster has stayed relevant and it has crossed genres, eras and generations. One of the rare classic enduring designs in the modern era of all consumer products.

Brilliant design, pretty much unchanged except for the truss rod...A Tele can be used to play any type of music, period.
