I know its part of a lot of Americana, but I just can't get behind that sound for some reason, and pretty much any accordion licks sounds better on a harmonica.

I keep saying I'll play a Flying V or Explorer at a Country gig.....but I don't know anyone prepared to lend me either of them.

A lot of my limits are set by chance, I suppose. There are a few genres I never listen to and have never played.....but I've yet to receive an offer to do so. I played some Bro Country at a charity show- and survived the experience, so who knows? Maybe I'll dep with a speed metal band, one day?

I have rehearsed a lot and played a bunch of shows, with SS and modelling amps. My buddy uses a Quilter which fits in a shirt pocket and it sounds pretty good but...…

I'm still looking for an affordable DR, from around 1970. ;)

I thought I would like to change the pickups in my guitar, but it turns out no, I do not want to do that. They sat there for 8 years and then I sold them. I almost thought I would never do another tube amp conversion, but I'm working on my second now.

Regarding styles I won't play, I'd do almost anything in a jam modulo my ability, but I think I may have to draw the line at ever playing "Friend of the Devil" again.
