This is what I am working with.
I ruined them when I was young. Too many fights ect. My right one is really messed up, as you can see from the big scar between my thumb and first finger in my permanently curved third finger.

I figured if the Django can do it I can do it.

Doesn't look too bad, considering your age.

Mines are crooked too from football and fighting, etc. The odd thing for me is that mine are shaped (reshaped) in a way that playing bar chords seems super natural but cowboy chords (based on the 2nd position open C) are very hard for me. I remember being surprised when I learned as a kid that some people didnt like bar chord grips.

I have a real ' trigger knuckle' thing going on with my left hand ring finger and need to get to a doctor. Knuckle locks up when bending one finger ( plus pain radiates thru palm)

I NEVER had to warm up before a gig, but now I have to play about 10 minutes to make finger 'work'when making chords. It won't unlock, or hit the right string when fretting and hurts! IT looks fine but, it is not.
Also, I have really thick calluses on fingertips which is a fun mix of lack of sensitivity from these, combined with sensitive nerve endings.

This is what happens from playing too much? But Gotta play!
