    Here is a simple reggae backing track - a tune I used to play in a guitar-bass duo. Thanks for listening and/or soloing.

    Super fun! I think I'll take a more coherent swing at this again later.

    @xtelesquirex...that was cool. 1:16-1:25 was a neat sequence in that context. I like the tone combined with that delay too.

    @Thoughtfree, that’s a fun groove!

    Here's a quick one. Les Paul neck pick up.

    Is this really reggae? It sounds more like Halloween klezmer to me. But whatever. Cool track! Macht spass! Agile LP neck pickup.

    @xtelesquirex - The spirits are awake and muttering! Perfect clean tone and lovely lines. Very enjoyable!
    @Mjark - Now yours sounds like reggae! Cool tone and spooky lines!

    @Mjark Sounds great! Some really nice runs in there.

    @guitarsophist Klezmer, haha! I thought the BT had a Hungarian feel to it. Glad I'm not the only one. Nice tone and tempo.

    @Thoughtfree That is hip! I like the acoustic approach here. Caught me by surprise.

    2nd take. This one is weirder and more experimental. I decided to try Hungarian Minor... If anyone is interested: C D Eb F# G Ab B

    Thanks, folks, for the excellent replies.

    The title alludes to "Surfin'", an instrumental by the Jamaican guitarist Ernest Ranglin.
