I finally took some time to make a sound demo of the first amp I built. This is the one that started me down this amp building rabbit hole. I don't play through this amp often, but when I do it always surprises me how good the Jensen 10" C10Q sounds!

Sounds great! And awesome job on the demo overall. I plan to do a big speaker shootout eventually, but have had zero time to do it lately. Family stuff has been eating up all the extra time.

I love the C10Q, and I've used a lot of them in amps for myself and others. Anybody who is a home player and doesn't need maximum volume for stage work, it is my go-to speaker. The Tweed midrange can turn it into a buzz saw, but I honestly think it's because it's so full-range. Hook one up to a stereo and listen to recorded music through it, and it's probably the most full-range, best sounding guitar speaker you'll ever hear for the situation. C12N is close, C8R may be better than the C10Q, but the thing is that they are all very full range speakers that don't cut much of anything - it puts out almost exactly what goes into it.

Nice looking and sounding amp. Good demo too. It looks like there's plenty of room on the right side of the front panel to put your brand name, "joulupukki" :D
