A New-to-me SG

The price was just too good to pass up. Like what I paid for a '69 Thinline
tele RI in like ~2007. CHEEP.

Faded series SG of some sort, I believe a 3-pickup. Prior owner stripped
it and refinished it just barely well enough that I don't need to mess with
re-doing it. BARELY. It's got a 'Burny' vibrola-deal. Came with FOUR
pickguards -- for 3HB, 2HB, P90 and SC/Lipsticks (what it came with).
The plan now is to fit P90s and if I like it like that get a cream guard.

The lipstick pickups are so vibey--I'd leave it like that for fear of taking away some of that magic (assuming you like it, that is).

The lipsticks are okay. I miss having a P90 guitar. Had a junior a while back, looking to get
some of those sounds back in the arsenal.

Was probably a 2007 SG 3 Faded. Has a weird almost-swimming-pool-but-not-quite route.

There was a 6 way rotary switch and tone and volume for controls.

Way koo! You scored. SGs are the bomb. Since it's been refinished, it can be a player and you don't have to worry about it too much. Play the hell out of it and enjoy it.
