Another newbie made using my looper linearly. A little rough, but fun. Listen if you like!

A self-indulgent bump? Hope that’s okay. Any feedback is appreciated. Hope everyone is having a great week! 😃
Howdy Hoot....

OK....I gave a listen.
I think it's a bit too rhythm guitar heavy throughout and lyrics are very unclear in many places.
I can't really tell how much instrumentation you have going on.
If it were my song, which it isn't, I'd remix.

But....if this is what you were aiming for please ignore my comments. :)

Respectfully....and hope that helps a bit.

Thanks for listening, man. I pretty much agree with your assessment, and I appreciate the feedback. Unfortunately, there’s no remixing since it was all just layered on a looper pedal. I still need a more proper recording setup, but it is very fun and convenient this way. I do like the song as well, and am thankful when folks give it a listen. All I used was my guitar, my pedalboard, my short scale bass, and a mic for vocals. Thanks again for giving it a spin.

I listened, I like! The experts can nitpick about the production, the mix, the recording quality--and that's good and useful feedback for polishing it up a bit (not too much, I hope).

But dang, freakin' nice demo for doing it all on a looper! Here's why I like it:
Good musical motion--took me on a fun musical ride that went somewhere
Great melody and I'm big on that
Nice vocals/singing voice--swells like a pleasant wave with the added harmony
Love when the song goes from the I (D) into the V-III-slide-into-IV (A-F#-G) "turn-around" (I think it's called) back to the I (D)
Lyrics are good too--made good enough sense to me in conveying your mood/feelings/thoughts (hey, it's rock!)

So glad you enjoyed it. Thanks a lot for the specific feedback and kind words as well. You are totally right on those chords. I appreciate it a bunch and will share another hopefully before too long. Have an awesome weekend!
