I always find it bizarre when my friends react to my more up-beat songs by saying, wow, it sounds like you really had fun recording this.
Why do they think that a "fun" song is more fun to record than a down-beat song? Recording is hard. And I pretty much never find it fun.
The end result can be fun if it sounds good. That's the reward - but the work is always the work.

I don't know, I find the upbeat ones are more fun to record. Recording in general is easy, but the slow songs have more long notes and require more breath control - that's the hard part!

Wow, that was very refreshingly enjoyable! I really like the arrangement, and it never gets boring! That's the key, you really kept it interesting. And the recording sounds pretty dang professional, the background vocals toward the end was a real nice touch. Great job!!

Great vox and harmony arrangement, good lyrics.
