I’ve never cringed so hard in my life. That was difficult to watch.
8 Minutes and 38 Seconds trailer of "Son of Dumb and Dumber"
Trollin’ at it’s finest..
"It's making the guitar sound different to how it was before, by changing many things about the sound".
I'm thankful for such an in-depth, factual low down...
Excellent journalism - well researched.
Lovely knitwear too...
What happened to the Vaping Subcorner?
I saw this the other day and couldn’t cringe past about a minute. One of the rules about actually being funny is you cant come off as “thinking you’re clever”. It has the same affect as taking yourself too seriously in music.
I could tell that the guy from Chase Bliss wanted to talk about CPAP machines.
Brutally bad. Is there no shame?
Shame is a painful feeling of humiliation or distress caused by the consciousness of wrong or foolish behavior.
There is no shame in being oneself, which the host Billy is doing.
Is this guy trolling and trying to be funny? I'm not familiar with him.
Are you sure this wasn’t a parody or something?
I need some help getting through that video
That's got to be a parody. If the guy was that clueless he'd never be able to queue the timing of the edits in the video like he did. I actually though it was humorous. Not award winning funny, but humorous.
I’ve seen his act before reviewing pedals on YouTube in a similar fashion. It’s mildly amusing, but tends to go on a bit too long.
It reminds me of so many skits I see on SNL, etc. that start with a funny premise, but have no clear vision for a punchline. It just fizzles and loses the viewers interest.
Yes, but there is real enjoyment to be had in seeing the jhs guy get needled about his country rock pedal.
Of course it’s a send up. Who could ever take it seriously? I imagine most of the vendors were in on the joke, or figured it out in short order. Why cringe when watching it? It’s a spot on parody of the current runamuck boutique pedal craze, along with a parody of the plethora of YouTube pedal reviews and the marketing copy.
Ali G was brilliant at this because his guests were legitimately unsuspecting. Then Zach Galifinakis (sp?) bumped it up with “between 2 ferns” and the guests were in on it.
Now every a-hole with a video camera and too much free time thinks they, too, can be funny trolling.
Even with nobody there to ridicule vendors who keep trying to come up with new guitar gear, I feel no attraction to NAMM.
Still, the Red Panda Tensor was mighty attractive and the demo rep seemed like a real winner too!
Cosmonaut? This guy seams like he's lost in space. Another win for the under-funded public school system.
