If you could have a drink or two with any guitarist (even if they are not with us anymore) who would it be?
    I would choose Jimi Hendrix.

I'd gladly crack open a Diet Frosty Root Beer with Joe Walsh.

Chris Dreja, rhythm guitarist out of The Yardbirds. He had Clapton, Beck & Page in his band but I’d just like to ask him- was he never tempted to take a solo himself?

What question would you ask your chosen drinking partner?

Deceased: Drake Levin, guitarist for the first and best lineup of Paul Revere and the Raiders. John Cipollina, guitarist for Quicksilver Messenger Service.

Living: Jim McCarty, guitarist for Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels, Cactus, other hard-rocking bands. Still active, I believe.

If I can sub perhaps an 'herbal refreshment,' Jerry Garcia or Johnny Winter for the guys who passed, or
Neil Young, who's still with us.

    * but I'd rather just jam with them, I'd be more comfy

I had a cup of coffee with Chuck Berry early one morning at a bar in the airport in St Louis. He was on his way to a gig in Seattle.

He was extremely educated and a real gentleman.

I love hearing stories like this, of which there are many in abundance. They fly in the face of all the stories of people getting obviously the wrong impression about the man.

The people who report negative experiences with him, I suspect that is often more telling of them, and their unrealistic expectations, than it is of Chuck

    Without hesitation, first choice.
I don’t believe he drank at all. But that’s cool, I’d spend the first 5 minutes speechless.
    Who is it?
The de facto creator of rock.
    Any guesses?

Any day of the week I'd probably give a different answer. But today it's Reeves Gabrels.
