Well got the neck rod epoxied in, and the headstock template remade (should have been around here somewhere)

    66265053_418772582313896_5409478049085259776_n.jpg

And a reminder for those not around a few years ago

    64544069_695544000896493_3654654922764320768_n.jpg 64784974_901016500237468_4298054509902430208_n.jpg

And my box of goodies.Too be honest,if not for the gift of these from my son now in the Navy,I'd get different tuners

    64265573_622060801625532_4904968775062781952_n.jpg

And yes, I'm aware these cell phone pictures blow, but a step at a time folks.I've never figured what pups I want, love the sound of the fender better but the original Jaguar pups ain't cheap and I only have room for two.Gonna need some D'Addario strings though, the Ernie Balls I bought years ago only feed through half the btidge holes, geez the bass in the name some take WAYYYYY too serious lol.Good night dear friends,God bless,

    Dave

Gidday! Dave...........Hope you're well mate! Just a query re your neck brace rod............Steel or Carbon fibre???

I get good results with 10 x 10mm CF with an 8mm pine dowel down the centre without adding too much neck dive.

Cold rolled steel Dave, in this case 5/16 square due to the oak neck. IF, I could get that in those sizes here as easily as you I'd likely use it.When I try to ask for that **** here they try to sell me titanium for BIG $$$$

Well the early appearance of snow means sanding :). Now the radius sanding is building muscle slowly so a body and neck profile seemed easier lol

All vintage Danalectro, Except for the cheap a$$ masonite and poplar lol.The plan I used was free in the link in the beginning of this thread but he charges for it now and it was a shorty bass.I just added the extra Bass VI flavor and badly need an old set of Jaguar pups to rewind.Sigh so much to do,so little time

I had little to do with that,my son takes after my mom and his wife is a cutety as you see.Grandson's older sister will be a certified hottie but NOT my problem LOL
