"A Day in the Life" is a song by the English rock band the Beatles, released in their 1967 album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. It remains one of the most celebrated songs in music history, appearing on many lists of the greatest songs of all time.

Lennon's lyrics were mainly inspired by contemporary newspaper articles, including a report on the death of Guinness heir Tara Browne.

Beware of fake news.
A lot of time, fake news is so obvious.
Keep love always in your heart, and always be ready to give it out generously!!!

Feedback is much appreciated.

Awesome!! I like your take on Macca's bridge. I play the intro with a crescendo, full, piano like chord. I don't know what the chord is, I just call it a C/G. Yours is better.

My fave Beatles tune, with Strawberry Fields a very close second. Well done. I also like your music room.

Hi Boreas,
Can you expound a bit on Macca's bridge.
And thank you so much for your lovely feedback.
Respectfully,
Rene

Wow taking on a Beatles song is very risky.
As always right on! That Martin is perfect for that song.
Hi Tarkus60,
The Beatles songs are meant to be sung, and sung with gusto.
The masses' songs. Me and my friends love singing Beatles especially around food and drinks.
Love your post. Thank you.

I just mean McCartney's middle section - Got up, fell outta bed section. I always thought the cheery tone clashed with the somber Lennon portion. But in all likelihood, that is what made the song great. I can play the somber portion OK, but find it difficult to change gears. You had a great solution.
