Leaving the Beatles catalogue out these two spring to mind.

Sort of gives my age away doesn't it.

    Another blast from the past:

Always thought this would be a good band name.

Unfortunately, I had the softened version, which was still pretty ok.

    Edit:

This is the version I had, same cover and all. Obviously not Zacherle, but it was good enough for me at probably 8 years old or so.

Oh yeah...that laugh at the beginning of Snoopy and the Red Baron...I think it was on some kind of kids compilation album I had as a kid (along with Does Your CHewing Gum Lose Its Flavor On the Bedpost Overnight...which I just found out was recorded by skiffle-master Lonnie Donegan)

As a really little kid, this would send me into whirling dervish trance freakouts, much to the delight of my older brother and parents...no one said word one about the movie to me...jeesh

'Guy Mitchell Sings the Blues'. That is just so fantastic, and so 1950's!

I'll be 72 in less than a month. It was very popular in Gander,Newfoundland, where I grew up.

Theme songs were still great, and written with great care, during the 70s...there was a blue collar and east coast big city vibe throughout the songs that was sometimes funky, sometimes reflective...always made me want to travel to those cities from the flatlands...they suggested very different worlds to a little hick kid like me. (Jose Feliciano and Bob James...a little tastier than Doogie Howser DX7 80s stuff)

Maybe The Beatles were too busy to do the Munsters T V show.
