Clean tone is probably what I'm most comfortable with. The Katana is a beautiful clean tone machine that just keeps surprising me all the time. If it failed in this area I would not have kept it. My first clean tone is sort of a Princeton type tone, but with better mids. I was very happy with this tone. Probably the first clean tone I recorded. The tune is Egg Radio by Bill Frisell, a simple I vi IV V doowop, The 2nd tune I dedicated to Kobe Bryant and his daughter. I really like this kind of clean tone and have used them lots. To me this is sort of Two Rock like tone, just a hopeful hint of Kimock,,, Father and Daughter These tones are both using the clean mode and they are bare bones, verb and slight delay. And they sound totally different, the only difference is in the 3 knob eq. These two tones are just a few minor tweaks of the 3 knobs away from each other, nothing else, that totally impressed me.
