Used ones are still priced nice! Love the big guy.OMG that Dunlop Tremolo was the BEST tremolo pedal I ever owned. I had one of the original, first run pedals years ago. I got lost in a move and I was distraught.

It dont get much better than that!I have a Dyna Comp and a germanium Fuzz Face. Do I get to play?
I have a chance to pick up a Custum Badass 78 Distortion for $40. I use the MXR Classic OD for overdrive and a Rat clone for distortion. Is it worth picking up the 78 Distortion, or is it redundant?
OK, I've completed my set. Blue (Teal), Red, Orange, Yellow Dunlop/MXR pedals. View attachment 1094173
I almost added a green GT-OD but have just about decided to go off the Dunlop reservation and get an actual Tube Screamer (or at least a TS9) to cover that color.
Somebody might pay you as much for your "classic" Dist+ as it'll cost for a new one with a 9V outlet. Crumbling foam 'n all!Back in 1975 Betty had both the Littlewoods and Kays catalogues. One of them had the MXR Distortion+ and Dunlop Crybaby. The D+ was £45 and the Crybaby might have been £30. At the time my student accommodation rent was £12 a week inclusive of meals and laundry. The Crybaby stopped working maybe 20 years ago, I should investigate fixing it, though I never mastered it's use. The D+ gets occasional use, though the lack of a 9v power input restricts things. I probably should sell it and buy a new one.

There's one on eBay at £1,272. They won't get anywhere near that but plenty seem to go in the £200-£400 range.Somebody might pay you as much for your "classic" Dist+ as it'll cost for a new one with a 9V outlet. Crumbling foam 'n all!
Good grief! There's one on eBay at £1,272. They won't get anywhere near that but plenty seem to go in the £200-£400 range.
