Looks good. I hope that's just a snack. They do sell sardines that have been cleaned but the little bones contain calcium if I remember right. A lot of good canned fish ideas here. We eat canned tuna here all the time also.

I’m probably too late! I hope you were careful

I know there was a carpet kerfuffle last time you ate sardines

I’m surprised they are still allowed

I do eat oatmeal once in a while, but afterwards, I have a distinct urge to whinny and run around kicking up my heels.

I had to change my diet a bit in November due to some less than stellar blood work numbers. Sardines are a food I added to get more omega 3 fatty acids. I just like the plain ones straight from the can (in spring water).

    Blood work is perfect now.

This is the brand I like, too, just not in oil.

I'm surprised you remember that. It was quite a kerfuffle (love that word) when they went flying through the air, and made such a mess I thought for a while I would have to give up and have the carpet changed! I bought a carpet cleaning machine though as a result of that little incident, and it's almost time to use it again! Momma told me in no uncertain terms when I started opening up them sardines, (the same color as the kerfuffle ones) TD don't you dare take them sardines anywhere near the living room. You sit at the table, and if you spill 'em you're in the deep stuff. I made it through without incident. I don't think I'm ever going to buy anymore of the ones in Louisiana Hot Sauce though, they're just too dangerous!

If you keep this up, you’ll be growing some extra whiskers out of your muzzle.

I gotta be careful about that, I don't want to scare the neighbors cat off when he comes over to make a deposit, wouldn't be neighborly.

They ain't bad, momma is always complaining about the smell of my sardines, but it's just 'cause she runs off before she can get used to them. After a few minutes, you can't even smell 'em at all. They get to looking more appetizing once you accept the fact that sardines is all fish, not matter what you might think. That funny looking stuff, well it's a part of the fish just like your foot is a part of you. You wouldn't find your foot offensive now would ya?

Check your vitamin D, lots of people have low numbers in their bloodwork on Vitamin D. I was a little low, upped my intake, now my numbers are right where the doc wanted them. If specific vitamins can improve target items on your bloodwork, I don't see how the rest of the stuff we take can't be working too.

This is one of those deja vu moments. I swear I have written that exact same thing in a dream! Whoa, the TDPRI might really be haunted!

I have had sardines and saltine crackers for breakfast, plenty of times over the years.

When I was dirt poor, and suffering thru high school in the deep south, many was the time that I would crack open a tin of mustard sardines and eat them with saltines for breakfast, or for an after-work snack.

We had this orange tabby, Barney.
He would hop up on the table, and just sit over there.
    Kindly, patiently waiting.

Barney knew that he was going to get some of that goodness.
    :)

If I wasn't pure of heart, I'd go right in there in the kitchen and offer my wife fifty bucks to make me some biscuits and gravy right now! Now where did I put that dried fish head I've been saving for desert.
