Awww, She was just doing her John Belushi in Animal House impression.

BUt you lose points, because I wanted to see her smashing it. Not the aftermath.

Now then, not to be controversial and following on from a couple of other previous but unrelated threads - was it a Chinese guitar that so enraged her?

you gotta feel bad for women named Karen, after someone decided that's what all white, over thirty, entitled, over-privileged and overly-judgemental women (with waaaaaay too high of expectations for everyone) would be called

I wonder what song he was playing.

I just learned a new phrase 'ptsd by proxy' classic!

Edinburgh? Lucky she didn't get her head kicked in.

That's nice about the replacement already... hope he wasn't super attached to that one.

It'll pass. Remember a couple of years ago when "Becky" was a thing? I hardly ever hear it used that way now.

Karens who aren't "Karens" will be fine. I work in an office with two ladies named Karen. One is not a "Karen" at all, and no one thinks of her and the stereotype at once.

The other is a "Karen" and a half, and moreover one so lacking in self-awareness that she would complain about other "Karens", so her case in super on-the-nose and ironic to boot.

But that's the new "smart". All [insert identity group here] are [insert offense here] and therefore [insert deficiency here]. The new smart. Also, the new smart doesn't have to be smart, just smarter than you, measured by twitter logic. Ancient psychological tactic used to manipulate folks who aren't....smart.

Almost named my oldest daughter Karen, but my last name is Carpenter so I decided against it. Trivia fact, I met my ex wife the day Karen Carpenter died.
