I love mine too, a bit on the heavy side but plays and sounds fantastic. I know it's a 78 from the date code on the WRHB...

Mine has a RW board as you can see in the picture.
Unfortunately I don't have all the nice case candy that you have......

I have a '78 Neck with RW finger board. I currently resides on my one and only partscaster. I would love to find a '78 body to attach it too, but hard to come by.

Ooooh, that’s nice. I hate loving Antigua but I can’t help myself.

My 75 replaced the long lost 73 mocha of my youth.

This one is a better guitar. The old one had a wiggley neck and an awful super distortion in the bridge that I had replaced with a Gibson. I bet it still had the 1 Meg pot — no wonder it was so harsh.

You can tell from the background that I have a thing for Tele Deluxes.

Old thread resurrected, a chance to show off my '73 blond and '75 sunburst.

Great guitars that can twang, but does anyone else feel a slight Gibson vibe?

And I don't believe any original Telecaster Deluxe's came from the factory with a rosewood board.
