Hi.

I choose the first one.

On account it presents as a grey box filled with just two lines of text.

These ones ( :) ) in fact:

867-5309 by a mile.

Long Cool Woman has maybe the best guitar intro of all time, but then it gets boring.

I played Jenny and Breakup in bands back in the day. A couple years ago a variety band I was in did Long, Cool Woman and it was tougher to learn and a more complex vocal and song structure, IMO. Plus, there are a lot of covers of the song. Therefore, it gets my vote.

Break Up Song was a regular, you can do a great outro solo an finish with crowd screaming the chorus.

867-5309 we could not do because my daughter is Jenny, just seemed creepy.

Never attempted Long Cool Woman.

I like all three songs but Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress is one of my all time favorites. I pick it as my favorite of the three.

Breakup Song, it has the best chorus.

867-5309 is a great life hack, though. You know how you can sign up for the rewards program at the grocery store and enter your phone number to get discounts? Just use your local area code and 867-5309, it always works. I've used it all over the country.

The Breakup song because of it's hook. It reals you in like a fish.

Maybe if I hadn't already listened to Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress 3,465,752 times, (narrowed down to listens prior to 1989 to maintain a reliably accurate total), my answer might have differed.

Anybody elese ever wondered if Greg Kihn and Tom Petty shared at least one parent? Much of their style and lyrical content seem to reside comfortably on the same storage shelf in my brain.

867-5309 (Jenny) for me. It was so successful that it thwarted the success of the band. They had a ton of good songs, but no other ones that had the thing that 867-5309 (Jenny) had. Tommy Heath and Jim Keller are smart guys who wrote the best dumb guy songs. Get Around Girl, Which Man Are You?, Dumb But Pretty, Laverne, National Emotion, Money Talks, I Wanna Touch Her, all fine songs.

The Breakup Song I haven't completely made my mind up about, other than it doesn't beat the above song.

Long Cool Woman has always seemed too close to being a novelty song, to me. It hasn't worn well in my listening and I generally change the station when it shows up on the radio.

Jenny Jenny! Yep.

GKB song is kinda whiny. I liked it when I first heard it, but it got old fast.

Long cool isn’t; just another copy shot, like Horse with No Name stealing the Neil vibe. Guess the Hollies did a good job at going for Fogerty; bowling for swamp.
