Nice, but not an 8502 model. They were discontinued in 2007.
I bought a Telecaster yesterday. I think it's a 8502, but all I can tell is that it was manufactured in 2006. I'm posting some pictures. Could someone tell me if it's a 8502.

Looking good were I'm sitting
Thanks, Australia to the US East coast in a heartbeat.
You can send the serial # to Fender, and they will verify.
ooops, will i retract my post, if i could.
What are these 8502 models worth today? I found one mint condition 2003 for $1500 Canadian...that would be about $950 USD with the current exchange rate. Would that be a good deal?
Hey all! Would anyone happen to have an 8502 for sale?
8502 model telecsater
I have a model 8502 ash series tele that I really love even though the previous owner changed the pickups for some stupid reason.
I contacted Fender with the serial number and they said it was made in 2003.
I was pleased to hear that as it seems that is the most sought after year.
Anyhow, I removed the neck tonight to do some fret level work and come to find out the radius of theneck is not as stated by Fender. They said it was a 9.5" radius and everything I have ever read anywhere says it is 9.5" but mine is a 12" radius.
Has anyone else discovered such with this model?
Not that it really matters, I would not care if it was flat as a pancake I still love it.
I am just wondering if anyone else has encountered such with theirs or any other tele as far as that goes.
Thanks and keep on twangin'
Are you collecting again Jim?
Post pics of the neck heel and headstock.
Hey T-nut! Nah..... I'm down to owning just one 8502 these days, but I'm looking for another one for a friend. I'd also be willing to sell him mine if I could find another 8502, but I just don't care to be without one. One thing for certain is that they're not so easy to find like they once were.
A minty one recently sold for what I believe is a record high, BIN was $1.5K
Fair market value seems to have drifted upwards more into the Am Dlx range now.
Wow! I probably should've kept another one or two. It's still my favorite Fender Tele.
I'll have to play mine for a bit and make a decision I think...
8502 in Fort Myers, Florida for sale on craigslist for just under $900.
Thought I'd spread the love, Came across an extra set of modern vintage pickups. If anyone is lookin. Can't believe someone replaced these babies with something else.
Maybe from this one.....
I've played mine more often lately and I must admit, the 8502 is as good as any tele made IMHO. (I just wish mine was a little lighter)
