I had been going back and forth on this one. Even though I know they are not accurate to the original I decided to pull the trigger. Please keep in mind that there are minor differences between every original Broadcaster so I will only say what they are between mine. First and most important the pickups do not sound the same, the anniversary sounds more like a Tele not that this is bad just not like the original. The original has a lot more growl and attitude and it definitely has a sweet spot without having too much gain. The neck profiles are different, the modern one has a c while my original is a soft v, also the anniversary nut is slightly wider just to the point of being noticable. There is a lip but about half the size of my original and the same can be said of the router hump. It looks like it's there but just barely noticeable. The waterslide logo looks just like all the reproductions, I've never seen one that had the right shape offered commercially. The tuners are also commercially available and not accurate to the originals. The brass saddles are also completely different they are round with vertical screws where the originals had flat bottoms and height screws at 45 degree angles. On the anniversary the string ferrules are perfectly spaced which is different than the originals. Dots at the 12th fret too far apart. Lastly the pick guard seems to be plastic not bakelite. Still glad I bought it.
