Did you replace this with a wire? Did you replace *R65 or eliminate it as well?

* R65 is on the filter cap board. It parallels the 220uF cap you removed.
I used a jumper for R65 and left the 220uf slot open, no jumper needed. You do have to have the R65 jumper though or no current reaches the 47UF cap. Not sure if I mentioned above, while I was in there I replaced the cheezy 1 watt EQ and dropping resistors with 3 watt flameproof of the same value. Pic below:

You've been watching some of the same Video's I have been SOK66.

I had his channel going constantly as background noise while I was working on the PR. Kind of like sleeping on a book, I had to absorb some of it by accident if nothing else. I the tone of his presentation relaxing and even a bit pretentious, but in a good way I suppose.

Nice job on that board. But what if I buy the amp from you and want to use my Copper Caps? :)

ETA: Lyle Cadwell has said he's active on the forums. I wonder if he's a member on this one.

I'm at a stage with this where I'm trying to decide if it is good enough to call it done. Still a bit of idle npoise, but only by a degree or two more than my vintage DR. Anyway, the work has eaten a lot of my practice time so I'm going to set it aside for awhile. Very happy with it at this point.
