Hey all, since I shared my 68 super reverb, I thought I would share a little Friday goodie too!

I need to take it to a tech. As it still has the 2 prong adapter and death cap. It had two owners. A father and son and the dad played an accordion through it!

    Enjoy!

I wouldn't be surprised if this amp has seen some garage time!

That's cool, plus being a transitional one when they were using up the blonde Tolex. You should dig it when it's fully-serviced.

I had a BF Tremolux head that was mighty fine: basically a BF Bandmaster tone that would compress more than a Bandmaster when cranked due to the tube rectifier instead of SS. I could never find a matching cab for it, back then, and played it through a Rickenbacker 4 x 10 stuffed with some kind of Jensens. That rig had some low end!

    Playing a '62 Tremolux 6G9-A, now, through a Newell reproduction Tremolux 2 x 10 cab. It's growly.

Love seeing those Blue Molded caps and the original PT still in there! But the electrolytics probably have to go... Congratulations!

Love my '66 with matching 2x10. I'm betting those dual cardboard caps are well past their usable life. I think I'd peek in the doghouse before firing it up, those filter caps are probably past their expiration date too.

I had a ‘66 with the original 2 x 10 cab great black face sound. Less than a Bandmaster or Bassman but you can make them sing. Mine tested out at just under 40 watts. As I got older it became a little difficult for me to move and like a lot of folks I ended up with a smaller amp. Enjoy it. Love those blond Fenders!
