My latest Tele fave has a few interesting features. It's a 2017 NOS Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition 1962 Fender Custom Telecaster with a 1959 Spec Hard C neck sporting the very earliest '59 silver " TELECASTER " headstock decal and a barrel rather than top hat switch. The "10" radius and Josefina Handwound Twisted Tele pickups really work for me. Sharing because I find the '59 aspects of this '62, while not unique, at least note worthy. Thanks for looking.

    That is a pretty guitar!

I have a '59 spec neck build (slab BRW, '50 truss nut location, half/half side dots etc) on order and am in the process of trying to decide what the heck it will look like i.e. sunburst bound custom or plain blonde. Hmmmm...

I'm a sucker for double bound sunburst too. That is flat out gorgeous.

I love the binding and burst and rosewood board! How thin is that neck? The C neck on my '62 AVRI tele was impossibly thin, were they beefier and comfy in 59?

    At any rate, enjoy it!

The ’59 Large C Neck – .860″ at the 1st fret – .980″ at the 12th fret, Large tapered C neck with bigger “shoulders” than the Mid 60’s neck, a chunky C shape.

Nice! That's much more substantial than the '62. Rock on man!
