60s Baja Tele - Need Hardware Info. Bigtime!

    Probably - that would be a last resort for me. Powder coating is expensive, but it is very durable. Clear coat - not so much.

    Oooh!! VERY cool! That's exactly what I was looking for. It looks like I'm in good shape. Other than the tuners, all of the other nickel plated parts, are quick and easy replacements. My biggest concerns (the bridge plate, and control knobs) are chrome plated.

    Thank you!!! I wish I'd known this information when I had my 2014 60s Baja - I never would have gotten rid of it. I'm looking forward to my Baja arriving next week.

    The Fender Vintage Locking Tuners are chrome. I can’t say I like the method they use for locking the strings, but at least they are drop-in replacements that aren’t nickel.

    Just a quick update - I ordered a 60s Baja in Sonic Blue. I arrived before Xmas, and is in the process of being refretted (yay!!). :)
