So i got this tl62b im wanting to upgrade a fair bit, specifically id like a 6 saddle bridge with strat style saddles and no sides for easy palm muting and super accurate intonation. I don’t care about losing some traditional Tele tone from this guitar, i have a traditional Tele already, the point of getting this one is for it to be completely different.

Ive had a gander around and the gotoh offerings dont seem to line up with the mounting on this. Totally capable of modding the guitar, but i don’t want to irreversibly mod this, no extra holes in guitar!

Ferrule’s are 54mm between outer centres.

Mounting screws for bridge (is 4 not 3) are 63.5mm.

Push comes to shove i can actually make my own bridge, im a metal fabricator with access to full machine shop but honestly have better things to do with my time so id rather buy if theres a direct replacement available.

I had a look at the measurements on the mim one and yeah, no cigar!

So i googled “gotoh 6 saddle for vintage” and found what i was after! I actually measured my AO50’s bridge this morning and its exactly the same as the one on this Japanese Tele.
This is what i ordered.
