So I have a 5F10 Harvard clone (sort of). It actually has a chassis that fits a 5E3 cabinet with a 12" instead of the smaller Harvard 10" cabinets that originals have. I had ordered a cabinet for it from an EBay/Reverb seller who ended up injuring himself on his saw and that dragged out the build time.

During that relatively long wait for the cabinet I was able to pick up an old Rogers tweed cabinet for a pretty low price. It had some fairly nasty glue lines along the seams that were made worse during its previous lifetime by adding shellac or lacquer without ever cleaning the glue. None of that bothered me too much due to the price and knowing I had a new tweed cabinet coming.

Anyway, long way around, I had some free time this week with the holiday and I also had a can of Stew-Mac Gibson cherry lacquer so I decided to do a bit of redecorating. Here we go:

    Love it!

I'm trying to decide which is the cherry and which is the whipped cream on top: your cool nameplate or that pink cable. OK, I guess the cable is the cherry... :D

That cable is just the George L's .255 red (the stuff that's thicker than their pedalboard cable) and I soldered it to Switchcraft or G&H plugs. Nothing special.
