Schematic and layout for the 5F1 has no R12.
    Shows R1-11, R13 skips R12.
I remember reading somewhere a good while ago that the amp
had the R12 but it was removed for some reason.

    Can someone elaborate?

There aren't many parts in a 5F1, and someone's numbering scheme doesn't really mean too much in the view of another vendor. The real question is whether it is really missing. show us your schematic.

I only count 12 resistors in the original schematic, so if you're expecting more, it wasn't Leo's doing. Curious to see what you've got.

    P.S. My speculation is that "R12" is a grid-stopper on the 6V6. :)

    Thanks Scott.
Wasn't expecting more, just that I thought I read somewhere that there was
originally 13 resistors when Leo designed/built the amp but there was some kind
of problem with the circuit so it was redesigned with one less resistor.

Something to do with the 6V6 oscillating or something like that.
It was years ago that I read that.
Was some article on when Leo designed the Champ.

Thought I kept the article, but cant find it or the original schematic/layout
    that showed 13 resistors.

    Thanks, Will keep looking.
