So I'm about to try this myself; am using an amalgam of parts, and fabbing chassis & cab.

    only one quick q:

when pre-wiring all the pigtails from turret board, how does one know how long to leave them?

Is it a matter of mock-up and leave a little more, or are there predetermined cut lengths I can find a list/chart to expedite..?

    tnx; looking forward.

If you're using a turret board, solder all the resistors and caps on the post and use the holes in the center for wires. You can bend the wire ends over for a better fit.
Solder jumpers on the bottom for a cleaner look.
