Recently starting playing my 59 Bassman reissue ltd it was locked in the closet for past couple years, due to space issue did not have room for this chunk of pine covered with tweed suits case looking box, but anyways I decided that I wanted a new tone so pulled the old girl out and dusted off her tweed plugged her in and fell in love all over again with her but want to give her a bigger deeper sound with more bottom end the P10R Jenson are not getting the job done in this old pine tweed box that now has all my attention. Any suggestions????

I love Webers in most Fenders, especially tweeds.

Go with 2 WGS G10C, and 2 WGS G10C/S. Good combination of bottom and chime. I had 1 of each in a Vibrolux and it sounded great.

Which Weber though? There's lots of them. I'm getting ready to finally build a BootHillAmps.com 5F6A I ordered last year. I need to get it done so I can compare the Bassman Micro to it. I'm a big Weber speaker fan but I don't know which Vintage would best fit the 5F6A.

Jumper the channels, that brings out the low end in the LTD.

Weber 10A125/30W, 10F150, or their Vintage series 10". Or give them a call and chat some.

The original Bassman RI came with blue frame Eminence speakers. I always thought that these speakers sounded better than the Jensens in the newer LTD versions of the amp.

I don't like those new Jensens in the Bassman. I took 'em out and put two Eminence Legend 1058 ceramic on the bottom and two Emi Legend 1028k on the top. Best of everything you want from this amp, imo. And affordable!

The Jensen P10R reissues have a decent clean sound, but aren't as full as the Emi 1028ks.

As Clint says, Weber 10A125/30W. I have four of these in a tweed bassman built by Sterling and it sounds perfect-o.
