I've started a Red, White, and Blue Telecaster build. The guitar is based on a 1958 Telecaster that a friend of mine had in the 70's, that he painted Red, White, and Blue with stars around it. Got the body from Guitar Mill, and will start grain filling today or tomorrow. I'd like to know who makes the closest parts to what would've been used in 1958. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks y'all!

Fender? Especially for the bridge and steel saddles.

    Darren Riley for the parts.

You can still get the Kluson branded vintage tuners as new reissue, although I don't think the quality is as good as some other vintage tuners.

Are you going to wire it with a "dark circuit" ? [IMG]

Fender do the AVRI 58 pickup set. I have those in my 59 style Tele and like them a lot. The bridge is vintage sounding and a little gritty. Nice with a bit of gain.

I just looked and they are still around. I have a set of the Pure Vintage pickups and they are awesome.
