A while ago I decided I wanted to put together a Tele as close as possible to my birth year 1955. I'm not ever going to be a guitar builder so the plan was to gather up the parts and put them together. Just to keep it as close as I could to a "Real Fender" I tried to use all Original Fender parts where possible. I managed to do that and all of the bits except the EB strings are Fender with Fender part numbers. I'm sure I spent more than what I could have bought a new Tele for but it became a bit of an obsession and the money was spent over a bit of time. The neck is a Lacquer finished 50s classic and the body is a MIM alder in Olympic White with a Pure Vintage pickguard in Eggshell White with Fender Original Vintage pickups and Fender vintage tuners. Anyway I'm stoked with the way it's turned out. The pictures don't really show the colour well but she's a real good looker. Just a bit more fine tuning to do to the setup.
