Just finished this for a client. I'll spare you the build process & jump to the finished pics. Cheers.

Thanks netgear. I don't have enough space for a scratch build, so from parts. p.bass 005.JPG

It's a shame that Fenders "vintage style" tuners come with cross heads. I swapped out the little ones but I couldn't source the cog ones. Phenolic saddles. p.bass 007.JPG

This is my first one with my new compressor & spray-gun. No more rattle cans.

Ah, this reminds me of the band I used to have, our bassist had one of these and I had a natural finished, black guarded Tele (still do :) ) Good times :)

    It looks awesome ;)

Edit: found this! Seven years ago, I still even have the same shirt, lol

May I ask where you sourced the large string furreles?
I built one a few years ago and had to use modern ones. I want to make another for myself and want the correct larger saddles.

Justin i had the same issue trying to locate the large ferrules and again same issue finding the correct vintage 2 saddles which Fender has stopped making no luck there
but you can find the ferrules on this site you will need the 16mm ones

Thanks. I guess I didn't look very hard the first time I went looking on that page.
