Which one would be your choice between these two?

Despite the fact that I'm not a fan of relic'd guitars I'd take the sapphire blue one in a New York minute. The Esquire has a classic '50s look you can find most anywhere but the Tele looks very unique.

Thank! That gives me a big relief. Someone told me that 'tele can be esquire anytime'. I actually tried both and bought the blue. I liked the look of esquire but liked the sound of blue. Both made brilliant sounds tho - tele was well balanced and esquire had kicks and power.

When I bought my red 50's custom there was a blue one too.. It was tough choice but in the long run it's hard for me pass on a red guitar that I like. Congrats...

Neither one. Not a fan of the tinted/dyed color look and the butterscotch has been done. to. death. and has the look of dipped in yellow goo. See thru blonde or hand rubbed oil finish would be my choice.

Esquire for me, no question. But it's more important that you pick the one that YOU like, and it sounds like you did.

When in doubt, always go with the blue guitar.

The blonde one hands down.It is such a classic and sexy looking guitar. The blue one is ok but nowhere as appealing to me as the early 50s blonde blackguard look which is timeless.

Between those, I'd go for the blue one. First, I'm not an Esquire guy so I have my feet firmly planted on the 2 pickup ground. Second, everybody and their mother has a BSB(including me with my BSB 52 Hot Rod). Third, I really like that binding.

You made the right choice IMO.. The FCS Esquires I've sampled have disappointed me due to skinny necks.

Everybody and their mother has a BSB! I should go get one myself! Thanks for your warm comment!
