Once again, thank you all for so many positive comments. I could hardly believe how many comments were being posted the last two days.

For those posting questions, let me see if I can answer. Hope I didn’t miss any.

Um, what’s next is a very good question. I have a few guitar build projects that I’ve been thinking about doing but haven’t committed myself to starting on yet. Also I have a non functioning early 40’s Gibson EH-150 amp that I picked up a while back that I was thinking about doing a re-cap/electrical restoration on. Who knows. I’m sure I’ll think of something. Maybe I’ll start a tele style build thread sometime soon. I should probably contribute some T style content to the site after putting all this LP silliness on here. :p

    Ha ha!
Sounds like a good time! But..... my wife totally gave me “the look” when I mentioned it, so I guess it’s a “no go”.

Yea, I did build the amp as well. I built it back in November 2016 during one of several breaks I took from the LP. It’s the first and only amp I’ve ever built. It’s basically a 5E3 clone circuit from a parts kit and I fit it in a TV front style cab I built. Its finger jointed pine with a Weber signature alnico 12 in it. I didn’t do a build thread on the amp. There were a couple “need help” kinda threads that I started for it but nothing that details the build really. Sorry. :( No, I have not built any pedals. Yet.....

I’ll see if I can put something together sometime. At the moment I’m not even sure how to go about posting audio on this site.

I think soundcloud is the way to go, or of course a youtube video. Either can be linked in the post.

Thanks! I’m glad you liked the build. It was enjoyable being able to share it with all of you.

As for the eBay binding, there are a number of listings with different quantities. I don’t know if they are the same vendor, but here is a link to one of them.

Awesome job Man! wiping the drool off my keyboard! I love Les Pauls!
I built a Les Paul kit once, but to see one built from scratch is just awesome.

    Great Job, great guitar!

I've saved this thread for future use. Hopefully I can get some tools together and try it before picture gremlins come and take the pic away like some of the threads I've saved in the past.

While this is MUCH more involved than the telecaster I started with, you explained everything really well and it looks doable.
