So I'm building a maple neck 50's strat replica, and I've found some conflicting information about the fret marker material and sizing so I've got a couple of q's I was hoping you guys could help with.

    1. Are the fret markers on 50's strats and teles black celluloid or fibreboard or something else?

    2. What size are the dots? I've seen 1/4" and 6mm, also wondering about the side dot size

    3. Does anyone have centre to centre measurements at the 12th fret dots?

    Thanks guys
