I really should know this stuff but it's something I've not done before... Anyway, I have a brand new high quality 5 way sat in the box that a mate wanted me to put in his cheap strat but then decided not to bother upgrading and sold the guitar. I have a Ibanez Noodles Talman with a strat-style 3 way and a pair of P90's, this 5 way feels much nicer than what's in it, plus I was thinking I could have more switching options. I'm presuming I could do ... Bridge, Parallel, Series and Neck, with a standard 5 way? not sure what I would do on the spare position, maybe a direct output for the bridge, or some kind of 'filter-esque tone cap' thing.. any good ideas (and a diagram would be useful) it's just a single vol and tone like a Tele really so I can adapt from a tele layout or whatever. I'm just a bridge rocker usually (all my other guitars only have a bridge pickup) so it doesn't really matter what I do, but it would be fun to have some more options. Cheers.
