Hello technical wizards!! I am wondering if I could build a harness to get 5 different tones out of my single-pickup Esquire. I have some thin Superswitches on hand, and I bet I could use one to good effect in this project, but I just can't get my head around a good circuit design. I am thinking I would like both the Arlo cocked-wah and the Eldred mod, a direct-out option, an option with tone control and...whatever fifth option works.
If anyone has already sorted this type of circuit out and would be generous enough to share their findings I would truly appreciate the help.
    Thank you, and ROCK ON!!

You could make the 5th option the much derided standard Esquire bass filter thing.

It really can make a nice wooly jazzy tone.

Yes, that would be very fitting, even though as you mentioned, "much derided." After all, that option is historical a very Esquire sound. I would be very pleased to work out something including those five switch positions!

How about a dummy coil on one? Quieter but humbucking.

Another option would be a Cavalier Hydra plus the arlo & eldred mods to two of the taps. That gives you 3 unique Bridge pickups plus variations of two.

    From Cavalier:
The Hydra Lion - Tele®/Esquire® bridge pickup. A double tapped Lion that delivers any three of these Cavalier Lion voices - Bakersfield, Nashville, Fat Lion, or Huge Lion - just specify the three voices you'd like
