Spotted one of these for sale at Guitar Center. Played it. $599, which is $150 more than the CV. Body is Nyatoh.

Not even comparable to the CV's I've played, which are very good and comparable to at least a Player if not a MIA. I know guitar quality is "one-off"... some are good, some not so good, luck of the draw, but you'd think the extra money would at least get you CV quality.

You do get gold anodized hardware. Whoop. For my money, I'd get the CV. I don't see any "upgrade" differences other than the gold.

I played the green one, but didn't like it at all. It also felt to me like some of the block inlays, on that particular guitar were actually trying to free themselves from the fret board. I put it down and walked... 🙄

Did not like it at all. It was heavy (3.9 kg), it felt stiff, the neck pickup sounded wooly, while the bridge pickup was way to sharp. But I liked the look with the block inlays and the binding around the fretboard. Never would buy it.
