It's a single layer rotary so shouldn't be hard to figure out if it's in hand. You can usually see the selector part inside which rotates and see which tabs it is touching when rotated.

You just want to combine the + tab at the volume control pot to the solder tab that feeds the rotary part that moves around to different solder tabs when rotated. Then view one of the outside solder tabs to connect a pickup + lead to. You can connect to adjacent ones or skip to different ones in the rotation.
Hard to explain, but visual works!

Thx. I’ll give it a shot.

corner of walk and don't walk
I can't see the picture of your switch, so I don't know exactly what you are dealing with -

Quite often you can visually figure out the functions of a switch, but if you have a simple electrical test meter, you can set the meter to the "continuity" setting, and then test the contacts to find the pathway for each particular setting of the switch

A meter is particularly helpful with switches where the contacts are concealed, and your eyes can't help you

Here’s a couple pics of the switch.

A diagram would be fan freakin tastic!

There is a very good chance that you can't get there from here. It kind of looks like each pole can have one of three inputs - A, B or C but not a combination like the usual three way switch. I can't think of any way to get the center position to be A + B. The manufacturer should provide a switching diagram and with a continuity checker you can verify what each position is doing.

The signal from the lower pickup (blue wires) has no where to go. Connect the commons together.
The switch is in position 1 in the pic connecting C to all tabs 1. Only upper pickup. (I didn't have time to make 3 pictures)
When you rotate it one clik clockwise it's at 2 connecting C to all 2's. So all green connector tabs are on 2's right? and combining both pickups.
When you rotate to position 3, all three green connectors are on 3's, so only lower pickup.
?
I think.......... my head hurts....

As Freeman Keller mentioned it doesn’t look like a typical 3 way (rotary) switch. It looks more like a blade switch - (a common tab that connects to 1 of 3 tabs) x 3. Maybe this?

Thanks for all the replies you wonderful people. I’ll dig into this further.

Would anyone have a rotary switch recommendation that would work for my application should this prove unusable?

I’m not sure I can do that, 😏, but I’ll give it a try. I don’t think, from looking at the picture of the tabs, that the commons are common with each other. Each common is only common to one set of 1, 2 and 3 tabs. What you have labelled as C1 is common to the 1, 2 and 3 tabs to the right of it.

This switch is similar to a 3 way Tele blade switch except it has 3 banks instead of 2 banks. (Not sure if banks is the right word).

Are there not rotating tabs 3 places where I have shown the green little dots which rotate all together from the center disc?? (only showed 2 green as one is covered)
