Hi,
My Tele has a 6-saddle bridge and I'd like to install a vintage one. I've found this one:

But I'm not sure it'll fit because it's slightly smaller than the current bridge (97mm x 80mm). Did you try that mod? Thank you for your help.

Cheers

I'm pretty sure that will fit just fine, as long as the bridge you're replacing is a standard 4-screw bridge.

I also like the real classic Fender plate. I got mine off ebay for only $12 but I see you can get the whole bridge assy (with 3 brass saddles) for less than $45US.

It should fit and hey, it has Fender stamped into it!

I'm going to order that bridge and also compensated saddles to go with it.

Here’s the thread showing the swap I did. No regrets, only smiles.
Am Std 6 to Am Pro 3 Saddle Bridge conversion
Thanks for that nice post, but IMO this conversion does not get the player's American Std. (or related models) to a place where the architecture of a NoCaster or AV52 or MIM Player is. IMO the through hole locations and mount locations leave the musician well short - especially for finger picking.

Update. I bought the Gotoh InTune bridge and could fit it without any problems on my Fender Player Tele. All the holes align, very easy. The Tele is more to my liking now, the sound is more Tele-like and intonation is no problem. Thanks to the forum.
