$50 off for a tiny binding chip at neck pocket.

Got some WRHB knockoffs - got some FeCrCo threaded magnets to replace the ceramic bars, going to pot them.

Orange, or blue dye job. Brown back of neck, maple fingerboard I think. IMG_20200728_153955.jpg

Now there is something I really do lust after.

I hope you've got a diary going over on the other forum

    I'm looking forward to more!

Where did you get the kit?

That’s going to be a great looking guitar!! Can’t wait to see it when it’s finished.

From Pitbull guitars in Perth Western Australia. I think other mobs have it.

First coat of wipe on. You can't get Minwax here, so I'm using a local Feast Watson product. Slightly yellow out of the tin. Flashes off really fast, so fingers crossed.

Halfway through the finish coats. Looking good so far. First dye job, first wipe on poly finish.

Oh yeah, looks good. Forget the WRHBs, get some Filtertrons!

Got a Setzer Hotrod so have the Filtertron angle covered. Part of the reason for building this was exploring the WRHB bit with hollow. I built my friend a Tele Custom a long time ago and had it back recently doing some work on it, potting pickup and lightening it. It's got a real 70s WRHB.

Very happy with this - couple weeks, bit of a buff with some light cut auto polish...

Have to make up angled piece for vibrato to screw through. IMG_20200804_205319.jpg
Had these for ages. Sorta suits the look I'm going for.
