    $1399 sounds reasonable I guess.

Just watched the making-of video that Fender Custom Shop produced. Jimmy Page was delightfully hobbitlike.

    I guess.

I haven't been able to find anything about country of origin for the more affordable models but I assume for for $1399 the base model is probably MIM? And then maybe the $2499 model is USA?

this is going to be a tough choice, the dragon version includes the violin bow and a red curly cable. The mirror version doesn't get the bow but you get a black curly cable and a guitar strap.

Yeah I think the lowest priced version will more than likely be MIM. I think i'd prefer a made in Japan version instead if i was considering buying one although the quality is probably pretty comparable between the two these days.

The white blonde one seems to be the AVRI 64 with Jimmy's name on it for $2500.00.

Looks like there’s a Road Worn...

    $1,399 / £1,259
    • Satin lacquer finish over a reproduction of Jimmy Page’s iconic artwork
    • Two-piece ash ‘50s Tele body
    • Custom “Oval C”-shaped maple neck, duplicating the exact neck profile from Page’s Telecaster
    • Road Worn® lacquer finish on the neck
    • Period-correct 7.25”-radius slab rosewood fingerboard
    • Two custom-wound Jimmy Page Telecaster single coil pickups
    • “Top loader” bridge with threaded steel saddles; String top load-style for a rounder sound with easier bending (like Jimmy Page) or traditional through-body for classic Fender twang.
    • Vintage-style tuners offer classic style and rock-solid tuning stability
    • Includes vintage-style black hardshell case

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Of course, in my mind, I'm seeing a guitar that would be about $1350 worth anyway, with a fancy paint job added for $49.99.

Oh, and is it just me, or is that mirror one just a guitar with some mirrors stuck on it? Clothing for emperors, methinks.

And to be honest, it looks like something I might see in the junk section of Hard Off,* shudder and walk right by.

It appears to me that they are selling a kool copyrighted painting with a guitar attached to it !

Unlike the BRAD guitar with no G Bender, at least this one has the painting which made it famous !

Oh No !!!! ..someone above says that the cheap one is probably MIM. Lord, does that mean we will have another MIM thread ? :)

So we can get a fancy JP signature Tele for about the same price as an original early 50s blackguard. No brainer for me if I had that cash available:rolleyes:.

Meh, the 'dragon' is average at best, and the mirror one looks like something a 5 year would have done.

Jimmy must have been high as a kite back in the day, when he thought this was a good idea ...

25 grand? A fool and his money ....

It actually WAS cool back in the day... I remember it. :D Now? Not so much, except in a nostalgic sense.

I’m guessing collectors will be all over the high end ones... Page will be handling, applying a brush stroke, and signing these. For me, for that kind of money, Jimmy better be giving me one-on-one guitar lessons...:lol:

I agree the $1,399 one sounds from the description to be an MIM, and given the Roadworn finish treatment.

The USA model for $2,499 is essentially an AV '59 top-loader Tele since the mirror discs are not installed, only in the case. Well plus the Page signature decal and fancy neck plate.
