Just got a new Vintera RW 50s Tele. My very first Tele was a late 60s in vintage blonde with a white pickguard. Below are the pics for Original and Aged White. What do all think? What is your preference? Vintera RW Black PG.jpeg Vintera RW White PG.jpeg

They both look right to me in that hue.

Switch em from time to time for fun and confuse your band mates.

Yep, both look sweet on that with maple board. Enjoy! :)

Black would be my choice, but you can swap them when you get tired of one.

I'm not going to lie, I really do like that aged white. I know it screams black, however......

I like the aged white, but the black pickguard looks like a slightly better fit. I mean the way it's cut, not just the suitability of the color.

I'd keep the black, white washes it out a little to much IMO.

How much do you love that neck? I'm smitten with mine!

Absolutely love the neck. Was nervous after hearing some reference to baseball bat like. I had a 50 CS Strat that had a huge neck but this feels wonderful in my hand, especially the feeling of the aging/wear.

I'm honestly shocked to have wound up with this guitar after telling myself I needed a modern fret radius and some sort of Medium C neck. Turns out I like a vintage styled neck

Yeah, I found the same with my vintera 50s, neck not too thick and really comfortable. I changed out the wiring in mine, as it was shocking, like they literally just got the longest wires they could and crammed them under the control plate, so I rewired with cloth wire, now I'm happy with it.

I like the black vs this particular aged white guard. The aging looks a bit dingy to me...

I like to keep things original and think the black ‘fits’. Then again, that aged white looks pretty damn cool so…………………………nope, nothing to choose on looks so I’d stay with the black. As always, your guitar so whatever you go with is fine! No, don’t mention it, such questions need firm, decisive answers!

I like them both but would probably go with the black.

The black provides contrast and visual interest to a somewhat undifferentiated mass of aged white.

Adding an aged white guard to an aged white guitar with an aged maple neck just doesn't do it for me. The black makes it pop, as the decorating ladies say.

The 50s Vintera neck is fabulous. Best neck with the best finish on any guitar I've ever played.

I just went through the same thing with my LPB road worn. Ended up with a mint green pick guard.
