Oh no, it make absolute sense to me!

I am very happy for you, this is the guitar you have been wanting for so there are no rules to break.

Hope you'll get it VERY soon, mate!

That body finish definitely looks more white than in other photos I've seen of the guitar. Does the photo really represent how it looks in person? Anyhow, I like it.

not really crappy phone pic with shop glare.

It’s Nocaster type hue with lots of grain showing.

I’ll post docent pics tomorrow. It’s dark now.

Resident Shop tech is doing an inspection and tweaks to my spec before I leave.

The store guys were all having a good gaze. Seriously cool was the consensus.

That’s going to be highly collectible said one.

Maybe. But I’m playing mine. No case queens in my life.

Cant play it tonight I’m going out. But tomorrow....

It’s a little creamier than Nocaster light blonde. Think Nocaster light. Nothing like pumpkin! I hope my camera can do it justice tomorrow.

Still a poor quick pic in the very very bright shop but less glare on this.

there’ll be an NGD thread in due course. D109E2B3-8AD8-45DC-A07E-C6F6294BCDA8.jpeg

I forgot to mention how light it is. My lightest ever must be 6.5 pounds max. Even the shop guy said wow light a feather.

When you get a chance please let us know how the neck feels. I can't tell if the fingerboard edges are rolled off.

That's just too nice. Said I wouldn't do it but I might have to do it.
Would like to know if the fingerboard edges are extremely rolled and
    how fat the neck is.

Could it be that they meant those Brodcasters would be limited to year 2020 only instead of 2020 pieces?

That was my interpretation... that the model is being limited to this year only. Not that there will be a limited number of 2,020.

I covered these points but to extract.. The fingerboard edges are nicely softly rolled but not excessively so:

The neck is substantial and U type shape but not quite as fat as a Baja more like and AVRI 52.

Thanks for that.... that's good news in my book. Have you gotten a feel for the pickups? I'm hoping the neck is not too muddy.
